Hermann Zapf, his purpose in his life was “to cause beautiful letters,” one of his lesson was quoted saying (Weber, 2015). Unambiguousness is well known that Hermann Zapf is one of the most beloved and important calligraphers in history, creating fonts that would serve as clean up guideline and inspiration for many fonts to come. However, Zapf had wail always planned to be a calligraphist, he started out dreaming to rectify an electrical engineer.
